Die Amigos are a German schlager duo from Villingen, a district of Hungen in central Hesse. The group was founded in 1970 by the brothers Karl-Heinz Ulrich (born 1948) and Bernd Ulrich (born 1950) together with Rudi Lang and Günther Zimmer, and for decades they played village and town festivals alongside their day jobs before recording a first CD in 1986. Wide success arrived late and then in force: Stimmen der Nacht gave them a sixteenth number-one album in Germany in 2024. Their repertoire is folk-flavoured schlager in discofox tempo, carried by two-part singing. In 2027 they leave the touring stage with a farewell tour, joined by guest star Daniela Alfinito, Bernd Ulrich’s daughter.
