Escape With Romeo is a band founded in 1989 in Cologne, Germany, by singer and guitarist Thomas Elbern, blending post-punk with modern electronica, wave and rock. Following their self-titled 1990 debut, they released albums such as Autumn on Venus, Emotional Iceage and Samsara, moving to Elbern's own Zeitklang Records label from 2001. Before the band, Elbern fronted Seltsame Zustande and played guitar in the dark wave group Pink Turns Blue. After a farewell tour in 2018 the group reunited in 2022 and put out the album Suspicious Bliss in 2024.
