Giant Rooks are an indie band from Hamm in North Rhine-Westphalia, formed in 2014. The five-piece group was founded by cousins Frederik Rabe (vocals) and Finn Schwieters (guitar), rounded out by Jonathan Wischniowski (keyboards), Finn Thomas (drums) and Luca Göttner (bass). Their sound blends indie rock and pop with layered arrangements. In 2019 they received the Preis für Popkultur award.
