The Heaven Can Wait Chor is a choir from Hamburg that has been performing for more than ten years. Its roughly 35 members are aged between 70 and over 90 and reinterpret current pop and hip-hop hits by artists such as Sarah Connor, Mark Forster, Fettes Brot and Deichkind. The ensemble is directed by choirmaster Jan-Christof Scheibe. After a successful documentary film about the choir, the group became known throughout Germany and performs frequently sold-out shows that mix cover versions with their own original songs.
