Markus is the stage name of the German pop singer Markus Mörl, born in Camberg in 1959. He first sang with the band Nylon Euter and launched his solo career in 1982 with the album "Kugelblitze und Raketen". Its single "Ich will Spaß" reached number one in the German charts and made him one of the best-known voices of the Neue Deutsche Welle. That same year he took the lead role in the feature film "Gib Gas – Ich will Spaß", which also features the duet "Kleine Taschenlampe brenn'". In 1985 he founded the band T.X.T., which scored a top-10 hit in Italy, and he still tours with the songs of that era.
