Kalimba Kadjaly Marichal Ibar, known mononymously as Kalimba, is a Mexican singer and actor born in 1982. He began performing in theatre and television as a young child and joined the pop group OV7 (then La Onda Vaselina) in 1993, leaving in 1996 to pursue a solo career. His discography includes albums such as "Aerosoul" (2004), "NegroKlaro" (2007) and "Mi otro Yo" (2008), rooted in pop. Alongside his music, Kalimba has maintained an extensive voice-acting career, dubbing animated films and series into Latin American Spanish.
