Katja Burkard (born 21 April 1965 in Bad Marienberg, Germany) is a German television presenter, journalist and author. Since 1997 she has been the main host of RTL's midday show “Punkt 12”, having started her career as a news editor and reporter. She has appeared in entertainment and talk formats across several German networks and won the competition show “Schlag den Star” in 2021. Alongside her TV work she has written several books and hosts a podcast.
