Mackefisch is a German musical-cabaret and singer-songwriter duo made up of Lucie Mackert and Peter Fischer. They pair multi-part vocal harmonies with a wide instrumentarium that ranges from guitar, piano and drums to banjo-ukulele and a self-built suitcase bass drum. Their debut album "Brot und Glitzer" was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award. The duo won the Walther von der Vogelweide Prize in 2020 and the promotional prize of the Baden-Württemberg Kleinkunstpreis in 2021. They currently tour German-speaking stages with the programme "Vielleichtgewichte".
