Malte Küppers (born 1988 in Viersen) is a comedian, spoken-word artist and host who lives and works in Duisburg. A trained social worker and de-escalation and anti-racism trainer, he draws on his experiences and everyday life in the Ruhr region, bringing them to the stage with humor and a critical eye. He has performed on German poetry slam stages since early 2016 and won the Vestische Literatureule award in 2020. His debut book "Wenn zwei sich streiten, kommt ein Dritter dazu" was published by Lektora-Verlag. He is also active as a podcaster, notably co-hosting "Ich kann nicht gut mit Menschen" with Jule Weber.
