About
Masego, born Micah Davis, is a Jamaican-American musician and singer best known for weaving the saxophone into his music. His sound blends R&B, jazz and hip-hop into a style he has dubbed "TrapHouseJazz". He released two EPs in 2016, including The Pink Polo EP with Medasin, and rose to international attention in 2017 with "Tadow", his collaboration with FKJ. His debut album Lady Lady followed in 2018. His album Studying Abroad: Extended Stay earned a nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
