Masud Akbarzadeh, who performs simply as Masud, is a German-Iranian stand-up comedian and cabaret artist. Born in Iran, he grew up in the Berlin district of Neukölln after moving to Germany in the mid-1990s. Following abandoned university studies and training in acting and directing in California, he began doing stand-up in San Francisco and has performed in Germany since 2012. He built his reputation with solo shows such as "Who the Fuck is Masud Akbarzadeh?", "Fucking Famous" and "Geisha", along with television appearances on the Quatsch Comedy Club and Nuhr im Ersten. His act blends improvised, deliberately rough stand-up with everyday observations and a playful, imaginative streak.
