Michael Nast (born 1975 in East Berlin) is a German bestselling author, columnist and podcaster. He has worked as a writer since 2014, and his book "Generation Beziehungsunfähig" spent nine months on the Spiegel bestseller list, bringing him wide recognition. A 2021 film adaptation of the book starred Luise Heyer and Frederick Lau in the leading roles. His 2024 book "Weil da irgendetwas fehlt" reached number one on the Spiegel bestseller list. Nast lives in Berlin and regularly performs readings and stage programmes.
