About
Of Curious Nature is a contemporary dance ensemble based in north-western Germany that brings together professional dancers from around the world. Helge Letonja has been its artistic director since 2019. The company was built as the core of the dance development programme TanzRAUM Nord, funded between 2019 and 2023 by TANZPAKT – Stadt Land Bund and TANZPAKT RECONNECT, and it has been supported by the Senator for Culture of Bremen from the start. Alongside its stage productions the ensemble runs workshops, school performances, public rehearsal processes and virtual-reality formats. It tours nationwide, performing in theatre spaces as well as open-air settings.
