ONKeL fISCH is a German satire and cabaret duo made up of Adrian Engels (born 1972) and Markus Riedinger (born 1967), who have worked together in Cologne since 1994. The two actors and writers describe their own genre as "action cabaret" and insist on writing all of their punchlines themselves. They first became widely known through thousands of radio sketches and comedy series for stations such as 1 Live, WDR 2, WDR 5, SWR 3 and NDR. On stage they have produced more than two dozen full-length shows, since 2016 focusing on satirical year-in-review programs like "ONKeL fISCH blickt zurück." Their political cabaret has earned several honors, including a special prize at the 2017 German Cabaret Award.
