Parallel is a German-language pop duo from the Stuttgart/Esslingen area, formed in 2013 by Koray Cinar and Francesco Caruso, who have Italian and Turkish roots. They started out as street musicians performing their German songs with guitar and vocals in downtown Stuttgart. Their repertoire includes the studio album “Bühnen aus Asphalt” and the single “Eine Sprache” recorded with singer Cassandra Steen. In 2024/25 they were selected by Stefan Raab and his jury from over 3,000 applicants for the German ESC (Eurovision) national preliminary, performing live on RTL and ARD. Their live shows blend energetic live music with stand-up comedy for an entertaining stage program.
