About

Irina Titova is a sand artist who performs under the name "Queen of Sand". Using her fingers, she draws flowing, ever-changing images on an illuminated, sand-covered glass plate in time with the music, while a camera projects them live onto a large screen. She is known for the stage production "In 80 Bildern um die Welt" (In 80 Pictures Around the World), a journey around the globe told in sand images. Besides full-length shows, she also creates custom performances for events.
