About
Ray Lozano (born 1989 in Cologne) is a German-Filipino singer-songwriter and producer who also plays alto saxophone, piano and bass. She grew up in the Rhineland, trained classically on saxophone and piano and studied jazz and pop at ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands before returning to Cologne. Her debut album „Pairing Mode“ was released in 2023 on Melting Pot Music, combining electronic production with R&B and glitch aesthetics. That same year she received the city of Cologne's Holger Czukay Prize for pop music. She can also be heard on albums by Max Herre and Die Fantastischen Vier.
