Reiner Calmund

About

Reiner Calmund, affectionately known as Calli, is a former German football executive who has become one of the country's best-known TV personalities. From 1976 to 2004 he worked for Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen, most recently from 1999 as the first managing director of its football company. Today he is active as a football pundit, presenter and author, and appears on stage with live shows. His strong Rhineland dialect and warm, down-to-earth manner have made him popular far beyond the world of football.
