About

Stereoact is Rico Einenkel and Sebastian Seidel, two DJs and producers from the Erzgebirge region of Saxony. They started out in 2011 as Starpoppers, working in dubstep and electro house, and from 2014 recorded deep house as Ric & Rixx. That same year they found “Die immer lacht” on YouTube — a ten-year-old home recording by Kerstin Ott — and put a deep-house beat underneath it. Released at the end of 2015, the single reached number two in Germany and Austria and finished as the most successful German-language track of the 2016 year-end charts. Their debut album Tanzansage entered the German chart at 15 in 2016, and the duo picked up three Echo nominations in 2017. Live they play party schlager over dancefloor beats.
