The Right Thing is Germany's only Simply Red tribute act, dedicated to the British soul and pop band led by Mick Hucknall. Its six seasoned musicians are themselves devoted Simply Red fans and deliver hits such as “Holding Back the Years” and “Stars” with vocal closeness and musical precision. The line-up features Manfred Lohuis (vocals), Kiki Schröer (bass/vocals), Mario Jervers (drums), Alex Rosenhof (guitar/vocals), Wolfgang Elsig (keyboards/vocals) and Bernhard Graweloh (saxophone/percussion). Their sets range from heartfelt ballads to rousing uptempo numbers and also make room for lesser-known gems from the Simply Red catalogue. The band performs regularly at club concerts, open-air shows and church concerts across North Rhine-Westphalia and throughout Germany.
