About
Tobias Johannes Mann (born 17 August 1976 in Mainz) is a German cabaret artist (Kabarettist) and musician. Before his stage career he studied economics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and worked there as a research assistant at the chair of marketing. He first became known through television appearances on the carnival show "Mainz bleibt Mainz, wie es singt und lacht", later through his own formats such as "Mann an Bord" on WDR and the ZDF cabaret late-night show "Mann, Sieber!", which he co-hosted with Christoph Sieber from 2015. Since April 2021 he has presented the satirical-musical ZDF format "Ein Mann, ein Wort", and since 2024 he has produced the audiocast "Grundlos gute Laune" with Philip Simon. On stage he combines cabaret with music, usually accompanying himself on guitar or piano.
