About
Barbara Kleyboldt is a German actress and singer who co-founded the Roto Theater in Dortmund together with Rüdiger Trappmann in January 1998. She made her public debut on 14 October 1998 with the musical revue “Love's shadow”. Stylistically versatile, she moves between pop, Schlager and French chanson. She is best known for her musical and literary programmes portraying figures such as Hildegard Knef, Mascha Kaléko and Frida Kahlo. The Roto Theater's repertoire is organised into comedies, poet portraits and musical revues.
