Frau Sturm is a German cabaret artist who, by her own account, came to the stage late in life – funny by way of a second education. Her solo programme „Arschbombe ins Leben“ recounts how she went, unplanned, from conservative married life in a semi-detached house to being divorced and suddenly single just past 50. On stage she takes the audience through a world of matches, red flags and superlikes, works her way through well-meant but clumsy matchmaking attempts and declares „being single“ a purely invented affliction. She describes the show herself as cabaret with maturity, wit and a large helping of self-irony. She performs „Arschbombe ins Leben“ at venues including Cologne.
