Since her debut in the mid-2000s she has become one of the most successful figures in German Schlager and pop music, selling millions of records. She is known for elaborate stage shows that combine singing, dancing and acrobatics, and has won numerous awards, including several Echo prizes. Her album "Farbenspiel" ranks among the best-selling German-language albums.
