Howard Carpendale is a German-South African Schlager singer and composer, born in Durban, South Africa, in 1946. He had his biggest chart successes in the German-speaking countries in the 1970s and 1980s, with hits such as "Ti amo" (1977) and "Hello Again" (1984). Over the course of his career he has sold more than 65 million records, making him one of the most successful artists in German Schlager music. Decades into his career, he still fills large arenas across Germany on his tours.
