About

"Loriot: Szenen einer Ehe" is a literary stage evening with music in which Senta Berger and Friedrich von Thun read sketches, dialogues and texts by Loriot (Vicco von Bülow) about the eternal puzzle of men and women. It draws on Loriot's "Szenen einer Ehe", published in 1983 — from the breakfast egg boiled too long to the evening argument over how to spend free time. Rather than imitating Loriot's famous screen versions, the two renowned film, TV and stage actors give the texts a personal touch with their own voices, subtle irony and a fine sense of timing. The reading is accompanied by accordionist Maria Reiter. The production has been touring Germany and Austria since 2024, with 2026/27 stops including Düsseldorf, Bonn and Essen.
