About
Martin Schneider, known as "Maddin", is a German comedian and actor born on 25 May 1964 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe. His comedic persona is built around an exaggerated Hessian dialect and distinctive catchphrases. He rose to prominence in the 1990s through appearances on RTL Samstag Nacht and the Quatsch Comedy Club, and as a cast member of the improv comedy series Schillerstraße. He also appeared in Otto Waalkes' 7 Zwerge film franchise. Since 2024 he has been touring with his live program "Schöne Sonndaach!" across Germany and neighbouring countries.
