XAVI, real name Xavier Schmid, comes from Steinhausen near Bad Schussenried, has lived in Berlin since 2012 and studied at the city's Hochschule für populäre Künste. He describes his sound as urban singer-songwriter pop; on the Four Music label he released songs such as "Brot & Wasser" and "Analoge Liebe", each streamed millions of times. After a creative break he returned in July 2023 with "Türsteher" and followed it in November 2023 with a debut album of the same name. The EP "Manchmal sing' ich das was ich nicht sagen kann" came out in April 2026, followed by the single "wofür ich dich liebe" in September 2026. His "Sorgenfrei Tour 2027" in April 2027 deliberately sticks to small clubs, with a loop station, vocals, guitar and piano.
