Johann König (real name Johannes Köhn, born 1972 in Soest) is a German comedian and cabaret artist. Since his first appearance at an open mic in Cologne in 1997, he has developed a distinctive style built on his famously cracked voice and deliberately nervous stage persona. His solo programs include "Alles Spekulatur!", "Total Bock auf Remmi Demmi" and "Jubel, Trubel, Heiserkeit". He has been a regular guest on German TV shows such as the Harald Schmidt Show, TV total and Quatsch Comedy Club, and has co-hosted the satire show "Das Gipfeltreffen" on MDR since 2020. His awards include the German Comedy Prize (2001 and 2010) and the Bavarian Cabaret Prize.
